Fire Victim Burned, Airlifted In Central Jersey Blaze: FD

A fire with a victim was being battled in Central Jersey, authorities said.

The fire was reported at about 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 16 on McKinley Avenue South in Woodbridge Township, initial reports said.

A medical helicopter was requested for a 30-year-old woman who had suffered burns, an unconfirmed report said.

A spokesman for the Iselin Fire Department confirmed that one victim was airlifted to St. Barnabas Hospital. No other details were released. There is an active ongoing investigation of the fire, he said.
